The Arkansas Visitation and Exchange Center, Inc. was established in 2006 by two area social workers who saw that area families needed access to affordable, professional, supervised visitation and exchange services. We remain the first and only non-profit agency in the region to provide supervised visitation and exchange services.

In the summer of 2007, AVEC was awarded a venture grant from the United Way of Benton County. This grant allowed AVEC to begin serving families.
